You can select channels from the easy to use button atop the body of the Inductrix. The camera is very lightweight and perfectly protected in the body housing. The antenna we've chosen for video transmission is a dipole and designed with durability in mind. Video range of the Inductrix FPV is nearly 100 yards line of sight and more than adequate to fly in any large building or home. 4.3 inch FPV Monitor Included The included FPV monitor is a 4.3" Spektrum SPMVM430 and is the perfect solution for FPV without having to pony up the cost of a full goggle system. The monitor is rechargeable via micro USB and has a 1.5hr run time before it needs to recharge. It is capable of receiving on 40 channels and can be clipped on to the MLP4 radio for hands free operation. LED Lighting With brilliant white and red LED lighting illuminating each Inductrix FPV, it's easy to follow friends while flying together or even see if the battery is getting low when they begin to blink. The lights are mounted inside each frame so they too will be protected in a crash.
Great way to learn to fly quads
Tons of fun and a great learning tool. If you want to learn to fly quads start small.
Controls are good, drone is responsive and quick
Comes with everything ready to fly in the box. It’s a lot more powerful than the (much) cheaper mini/nano drones, and a bit more protected, since the blades all have cowls around them. It does transmit video to a screen (this screen is loose, has it’s own rechargeable battery and mount on the controller). Controls are good, drone is responsive and quick. The one fun part is that you can buy FPV goggles and have it transmit to them, a fairly cheap intro before getting into the bigger ones.
This is a fun drone to fly around inside the house.
easy to set up and use
Durable, easy to set up and use.
I probably just suck but this does not stay stabilized
I probably just suck but this does not stay stabilized. I can spend the entire battery life getting this thing calibrated but when I recharge the battery I have to start again from scratch. Its possible the power to the propellors is dependant on the charge in the battery. So I tended to get the calibration close enough then fly it wild.
Great fun for all skill levels
I love this little quad. When weather doesn’t let you fly your bigger/faster stuff? The ducted micros are where it is at. Inductrix specifically is my “go to” when it comes to teaching someone to fly, or for quick little races around the house. The frames are a bit flimsy, especially if you hit something hard. You will want either a spare frame, or look for the little carbon “X” that can cross brace the motor mounts to prevent the frame from cracking at the struts.
but you have to change out the battery like every 3 minutes
Works well, but the little propellers kept falling off! Got new ones, so no worries! It’s fast, but you have to change out the battery like every 3 minutes. Wish it could hold more charge.
